It had snowed last night, covering the world with a big white coat, but it was not cold. Dino walked quietly, listening to the silence. The atmosphere was unreal, like if time had stopped. The Cavallone’s boss enjoyed the perfection of the moment, his loneliness, and the lull in the war. He was happy to be here, because he knew he would have to face the reality soon.
"You shouldn’t be here, Squalo", he whispered.
The other guy frowned as he thought he had been discreet enough. He then shrugged, and watched around. He didn’t know why he was here, why he had followed his former friend outside the house. It was maybe because Dino had seemed strangely away lately. Not that he totally cared about him, but if Dino was not at his fuel potential, he was nothing but trash. And Squalo didn’t like anything more than a complete Dino for opponent.
"Are you trying to get a cold?" Squalo hissed.
"The sun’s high and hot."
The shark man sighed. Indeed, the air was not so cold. His eyes fell upon Dino, and emotion ran through his veins. The sun was dancing on Dino’s hair, which seemed to shine under the light, golden corn ready to be taken… Squalo felt his hand clutching. What would it be like to touch his friend‘s soft air?
"Okay Squalo, let’s go home."
Home… Where Dino was would always be Squalo’s home.
