Ah the overbearing and overprotective parents. I know them well. I couldn't even begin to tell you what I had to do to get my parents to loosen up. Even though I sympathize with you I think you should take a moment to think of it from the other side and as much as you'd like to disagree what would you do if it was your child with some strange kid you don't know in a strange place. Especially with some of the things that have happened over the last few years overseas not to mention your a girl which makes you a prime target for these people. I'm sure you can handle yourself but I don't think I need to go any farther to flood your mind with possibilities I think you get the picture and what ever you can think up i'm sure your parents envision something a million times worse. I know it may be hard to believe that after our parents large bouts of being psychotic that they'd actually have some good input but it does happen from time to time even if it is a rare occurrence an extremely rare one at that.
