Peter Gould says it all ends up in complete ashes. But it's about the journey not the result.
"Better Call Saul" made me so happy (and left me wanting more--I was actually surprised the time went by so fast). Even when I don't quite follow everything, I have such faith that Chekhov's gun will be used at the most satisfying time. And I'd read all about Jimmy and Kim work their way around the world as likable grifters.
Very much enjoyed the episode even though it's bittersweet knowing how at the end of it all Cinnabon Gene sits and waits in that room with the dumpsters. But maybe then he actually has that midlife clarity he talked about earlier.
I loved how his "SG was here" graffiti was a pathetic defiant gesture, when he was trapped in there because he couldn't take the risk to alert the cops...
