I was supposed to go and see The Lost City of Z by James Gray, tonight, but it has been postponed...so here I am, in front of my small screen, instead of being at the cinema. I will soon go to bed and read some crime novel, but before that, let's talk about tv shows, shall we?

I'm behind Feud - yes I watch Feud, if only for the atmosphere and the ( Read more... )

Total agreement with you on Legion. WTH Show???? It took the strangest nosedive into commix superhero shit and it SUCKED pretty seriously. THAT was a shame. I'm hopeful about S2 but not with Oliver possessed. Yuck.

I guess I didn't realize that Legion was a comic book. I feel stupid now. I was soooooooooo impressed with it....

And yes, I agree that there could be no other reason to start with a family-guy villain than the idea of perspective. That was strong, imo.

I did like that Syd got to be the hero.

I only knew it was based on a comic book because I saw it on a review! I have never read any American/superhero comics...Not my thing at all, never was.

I too like those opening critics though apparently a few of people - critics - don't. I find them witty.

Really? I wonder why they don't like them. They are witty, and Buckley's score is spot on!

Did you ever give thought to the idea that Melanie and Oliver are actually David's parents on LEGION? His supposition about how he came to be adopted might be wrong. They (Melanie and Oliver) may not know (but Melanie may suspect) that he is their son - thus they may not know the complete circumstances concerning what became of their child.

I'm a big fan of Lucifer.

Going to watch a few new ones too, like SONS, or whatever it's called. On AMC.... or is it FX? And I am so looking forward to the return of 12 MONKEYS - that show is a killer.

Not really, also I got myself kinda spoiled when I read someone commenting on the comics and hinting at who David's dad is (some famous X-Men mutant).

The Son is on AMC. Alan Sepinwall just tweeted that the series is a drag...

But PREACHER is coming back!
