The keys pop right off. I find that using a flat edged screwdriver to pop em off works really well. But, be careful. I found out the hard way once that if you take the whole entire unit off, there's a little spring that sproings out and is a BITCH to put back in.

Good luck! Cleaning a keyboard is a painstaking process, but not too difficult.

Worked like a charm... Not perfect, but it's close enough. Lol! It could be worse! :-)
