i'm not sure how i feel about michael moore. i like that he's putting the information out there, but i don't like the way he uses the same kind of emotional propaganda as the government. blah blah blahalhalh
arrgh i fucked up and deleted my response because i wanted to add ONE word.
anyway, i see his lame grand-standing. its annoying. but apparently this new movie doesnt suffer from the same faults. even his critics have come forward and celebrated its merits.
as for supersize me, none of us have seen it. but i really want to. i hear its pretty amazing...
that's cool that it's supposed to be different. i thought a lot of the things in bowling for columbine were totally unncessary. (the kmart bullet crusade and the whole thing when he was on charlton heston's property)
it seems like there have been a lot more "anti-establishment" documentaries around lately, but maybe it's just me.
yeah, those two scenes are really annoying. but i also think that there are good things about bowling for columbine. the problem with moore is that he DOES have good ideas, but theyre often too obscured by his bullshit.
as for recent docs... im a gigtantic buff, but i havent seen anything ive been that into, save my architect.
