And this is the last time I will fall...

So. Last Resort.

(That was your spoiler warning.)

I like Scott Speedman. I really do. After spending the entire on-air run of Felicity being indifferent to/annoyed at/incredibly nauseated by Ben, the first time I actually broke out the DVDs, I was shocked at how much of a Ben girl I became. I was always kind of bummed that he never caught on ( Read more... )

I just, just finished watching it! I loved it to death! Great concept.

(I just saw ratings weren't outstanding though, so, GAH. But maybe word of mouth?)

The ratings on Scandal last year weren't all that hot, either, but they held out on faith, so I'm hoping ABC will see reason on this one, too.

I watched the preair of Last Resort and loved it then and cannot wait to see where they go with it. Andre can never not be the most awesome in a room at any time.

Also, Scandal, did not see any of that coming. it's like they've created a totally new (and magnificent) show the for the second season with only hints of the first trickling through. The speech to Mellie about being decorative, just omg amazing writing and I *love* that they went there and how she reacted. I think I've found my fourth yuletide request.

I saw a screening and was absolutely enthralled, and it was actually better on second viewing. Like I told a friend, Chaplin's Last Stand speech alone was better than like 75% of what's on TV right now.

OMG SCANDAL. I think Scandal is going to be the major network drama of my heart. Between the showdown with Mellie and the Fitz/Cyrus face-off and Olivia's "I DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER TO YOU, I HAVE TO PRODUCE FOR YOU" outburst of awesome, GAH. I love that everyone is intelligent and respects everyone else's intelligence, even if they're on opposite sides. I love that we root for Olivia and are firmly on her side, even though she's made some seriously questionable choices and we still don't know what her motivation is. I love that there are no bad guys, just people with their own aspirations and agendas that clash with everyone else's. I think it's the best thing Shonda's ever done by far, and to be honest, I feel bad for Grey's Anatomy, sandwiched between Last Resort being badass and Scandal being brilliant.
