I got a laptop last night and picked it up today. It's sooo nice, I love it. Can't play Sims on it, it's only 3 GB. I wanted 4, but whatever. We're getting our desktop computer fixed, since it got pwn'd by a massive virus, so then I'll be able to play again :)

Moving and living in a new place can feel weird.

I'm curious as to why you cannot play Sims on a laptop with 3GB of RAM on it. I run all TS 2 EPs and all SPs with 2GB of CC on a computer with 1GB of RAM. I also run TS3 with WA installed and some CC on that machine. Is the processor really crap? Or does it not have a dedicated graphics card? Because 3GB of RAM is more than enough to run either of the games. And I run both of them in highest settings. I get no lag except when it generates a special townie like the witch. But gameplay is smooth.

Hmm... the people at the store said 4 GB would be best. Now I wanna try it lol, I'll go look some stuff up about it and see. I miss the game so much!

The graphics card is ok, I think... it's a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 (I'm reading this from the sticker on it lol)
