I'm livin here now, and it was a close deal. But what was difficult for me to stomach was a guy I work with who seems sensible, and isn't what I'd call ignorant. I am SO tired of being down here in CA alone. I wish there was a way for one or both of the girls to come down every couple weeks at least. 1s, we got a pre-approval for $250K VA home loan, so we should be able to get a prety sizeable home in a decent area. Realtor has been sendin us listings on some awesome homes. some are kinda iffy, but a couple are just beutiful, AND we can afford them. We drove to Eureka Sunday, and back home ysterday. It is beutiful, very much so, and an outdoor paradise. But wow, that town is pretty shabby. LOTS of bums everywhere, loads of Wal-Mart warriors, an evident crime problem, and way, WAY too far from reality.
