Pride is done for this year. Well, the actual festival is, but our work isn't. I now have to find the energy to do all the after festival stuff. We have bills to pay, sponsors to see, advertisers to thank, volunteers to appreciate, and then the whole cycle starts again! This years Pride went off with only a few minor glitches,some religious

I really had fun at the community fair. (!!! I haven't had "fun" like that at Pride in ages!) I think it was my favourite so far, specifically because the entertainment was way better than usual. It really felt like the centre of attention, and the performers were really awesome/professional. I hope that you can stick with the city hall site. From where I sat it looked like Parade lineup went really smoothly too (or at least you fooled me!) Sometimes it feels like mass confusion but I didn't sense any of that this time. Yay Nich!

and that watermelon salad sounds awesome. we had a fruit salad that had cinnamon in it the other day, with the watermelon was a really neat flavor texture combination. Kinda funny how something you eat as a kid in a simple "this is it" way can turn into something so different as an adult hey?
