I have persisted to be a bad sister so far. I have to stop before I am a bad Aunt as well. Grrr. Why do I always just not send Birthday cards? I think it has something to do with me not really feeling attached to that day once a year. It's just another day along the timeline of my life, a simple statement of a year passed since the last. I guess

It's true that Birthdays are pointless as far as the whole marking-time thing goes because we basically make up time anyways. However, why would you turn down any excuse for a party?
