Cancun was destroyed last hurricane season and don't believe ANYTHING they tell you about it being rebuilt. It's a complete disaster zone and even if it wasn't - unless you're into the Girls Gone Wild scene - it should be avoided.

I'd limit your Caribbean destinations to: Aruba, The US Virgin Islands, and St. Barth. Avoid Jamaica, the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Antigua, Grand Cayman, etc.

As for your honeymoon - I'd STRONGLY suggest: Punta Mita, Mexico
