whew... latest round of mid-terms over.

Since i wasn't in class yesterday to get my latest PoliSci grade, i slipped in there on the way6 home today and took a peek at the wall.

88%!

That's a B+, which is about 7 points better than the last test.

I also got my grade for Human Geog, and that one was a 93%! I was tied for second-highest grade in te class, although someone got a perfect

i am too old to be a doormat, and with the current climate of hostility toward the GLBT community in general, someone has to take a stand and say something...

Fred Phelps and Co. are coming to join us at the beginning of Pride Week on campus... isn't that sweet of them, to help us celebrate?!

i don't know, honestly. Because i have all of this 'real life' grown-up stuff to deal with, i'm not as involved as i should be on campus. I keep meaning to take a Thursday evening off to go to a BiGTLM meeting, but there's always something more important that needs to be done.

The funny thing is, although most everyone at WVU knows thatr Phelps is coming, it's like a huge white elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about. The only person i've been able to get to talk is one of the Campus Copps that i'm friends with (he's a late-evening regular at work). He's said that the law enforcement community is not looking forward to this, and they would really love to just all call in with "Blue Flu" that day, so that those asshats would get what they so richly deserve.

i feel lucky that none of the exams that i have this semester are comprehensive... that'll make my finals SO much easier...

the hard part will be that i have the final for my POLS and for Geog on the same day. that's going to waste my brain...
