All classes at Syracuse University starting after 12:45 pm are cancelled due to snow. They are staggering the release of non-vital staff (so, non-physical plant, dining hall, maintenance, etc.) from the University in order to keep the roads from becoming clogged

holy crap!

That's especially odd since you're actually behind in average snowfall this year. We were within inches of the record my freshman year (2000/2001) but they never cancelled classes. Enjoy!
