Kinda old news, but I got a call Monday night from Dani Byrd, the head of the Department of Linguistics at USC saying that I've been admitted into their graduate program with full 5-year funding guaranteed. W00t! Still to hear from NYU, McGill, MIT, and UMass ( Read more... )

Good to know...incidentally I just heard back from NYU with word that I was waitlisted. Not that it's super important, but I'm a little bit curious: did you stumble across my journal via the who_got_in community?
