XF fanvid: "Goodbye"

I don't know what I can say for myself with this vid. It's like I set myself several challenges: to vid a song with no narrative, to vid a song without imposing a narrative, and to vid a song using all the most obscure and contextless clips I could find in The X-Files (that were still visually meaningful). i was getting a weird kind of deja vu resonance from this vid, and i kept trying to think of why, and eventually i realized it was the visual equivalent to how i felt towards this caption of fanfic. (i highly doubt i need to tell you who it's buy *g*)

She threw on coats as she passed through doors, descended into the earth to work, turned right against red lights. She plugged in rotary saws and cracked open rib cages, shook soap into the dish washer, defended Mulder to review boards and superiors and brothers.

Mulder shook peanuts into her palm on an airplane, uncurling her fingers with his. He broke into research facilities, the Pentagon, the Department of Defense for her. He told her she had saved the world. She gave out love, and Mulder gave it back.that's exactly what i get from this: it's kind of an artistic coalescing of their lives, but rather than attempting a narrative like many vids, it's rendering them down into materials: moments, expressions and then implications, so that one perceives all the elements, but somewhat ( ... )
