So... heard from my HP agent.  They are going to replace the laptop...again.  right now I have an Envy.  These are the links I was sent as to what they are offering.

I neeeeed advice.

I know. But they aren't making anything other than W8. Actually, this one is going to be 8.1 .

It's the last shot. If this doesn't work, I don't know what I can do.

I can't use a Mac, Mark. I don't have the knowledge or memory that working with Macs requires. :-(

Thank you. :-) I've decided to go with the first option on the advice of two people who do know puters. :-) Of course, Mark told me to get a Mac. But, as much as I'd like to do that, I doubt I'd be able to work with it. I is illitrat when it comes to these machines. :-(
