Well the violin is here on my lap.

I've already broken a string.

Ok So I can play guitar. And bass. And piano(poorly but that'll change because I'm getting better) But this violin thing is going to take me awhile. The violin so loud. I can't practice at night because the sound carries so far.

The violin is a funny instrument!

But you know the year I played(I was in 3rd grade) I never broke a string.

You should have played the viola.It would've been cooler. No one ever plays the viola=(

I broke a string because I recklessly wanted to see how high I could tune it.

Viola's are cheaper too because no one wants to play them. =/

Poor viola's, they're like the blacksheep of the string family.

I always thought it was odd to play an instrument that you held between your neck and chin.

That's another reason it's going to take me ages to get this thing down. It akward to have a thing on your shoulder. And you kinda have to support it with your shoulder and chin, and only your shoulder and chin, so that your left hand is free to move about the fretboard.
