So ya....as of Saturday I started my training in flash and damn if being sick didn't help. BUT Edwin our instructor was very patient with me and has been well...great with everyone! Though DAMN is he ever a slave driver. When I did my final film I had 5 weeks to do the storyboards. Course in some ways I feel I didn't use those weeks as much as I should have but after learning what I did Edwin now wants us to do a new storyboard for our flash film in a day and a half! Gotta love pressure eh? So here I am with about 2/3's of my film boarded...well maybe 1/2. And I'm stuck. Thank god our instructor who covers storyboarding will be in today. I can always bounce idea's off of her and she's got a similar sense of humour so it'll be fun^_^
So anyway...it's been a while since I've posted anything art like. Thus here's some thumbnails for my storyboard. Some of the panels are out of sequence but there's numbers on the top left of them to help with the reading. And some rough sketches of my character "curl".
The whole idea came from the rhymn I've had applied to me many times during my childhood.
There once was a girl with a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead
When she was good she was very good
And when she was bad she was horrid!
