I was reading an article on DDT by the ACSH laying out a case that DDT does not cause eggshell thinning, and that Rachael Carson's Silent Spring was, well, alarmist. So I tried to gauge their credibility, and it's not the easiest thing. They do generally get their funding from industry, but their founder is fairly well respected nevertheless. And
