...and it made my heart swoon

In the crowded subway, they entered. Three guys, one girl.

Everything’s normal. Nobody gave them a second look as they huddled together at the corner of the human-filled room. I even gave a scowl as they unwittingly “shared” the territory I claimed as my own - on the farthest end of the room.

But the scowl was soon replaced by gape as I stared in awe at the tallest man who pinned one of the guys on the metal wall.

They were talking, murmuring absent-mindedly as his left hand casually sat on the shorter one’s hips, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

“So as I was saying, he wanted to meet me 7:00 in the morning,” the shorter one whined. The girl giggled - or what I though was a girl with her long, straight hair, cute tee and skinny jeans.

“And you ignored him?” she asked incredulously, voice giving way to HIS gender, revealing HIM as a pretty cross-dresser.

“Mmhmm,” the tallest chuckled, to which his lover, may I finally label, gave a smirk. He caught me staring at them and I instantly shifted my gaze in embarrassment. But not before I saw him lift his hands on the taller’s shoulder, as if to pull him closer.

I tried to hide a grin but failed miserably. Possessive uke.

Apparently though, he wasn’t the only one with a streak for claiming what’s his. And through the bustle of the room as we shifted positions, I finally got the glimpse of the third guy. He was charming, cool, somebody who’d remind you of Rukawa as he stood silently behind the feminine one, not really listening to their conversation.

He was only mindful of one thing, nuzzling his partner’s hair like it was the only thing worth doing at the moment. And how could I not notice his arms as they wrapped around his waist tightly, almost too tight, you could just see them pressed together. I felt my cheeks burning as warmth crept in my heart.

But all the good things had to end as they apparently came to their stop. And together in pair, they exited the train, two held hands while Rukawa still had his arms on the pretty one’s waist.

The door closed as the two uke’s looked at me. One was smirking as the other had a sweet smile. It was only split second before they turned away. And just like that, the train moved and reality set in motion.

Then I’m alone in the still crowded subway, where more people entered and invaded the territory I momentarily shared with them. But this time, as hard as I search, I couldn’t find my scowl anymore. Still, everything’s normal.
