I'm still not sure what to do about it all, but
at least I'm not the only one. :) I am surprised
you view the man as being the one in charge,
though. I guess I just never feel like I'm in
control of anything when it comes to first
impressions and such.

Same situation happened to me quite some time ago. Was confusing to me and I ended up just locking up until she drifted away. Felt dumb as hell for just locking up like that. But as you said hitting on her felt wrong and trying to get away would have been cruel not to mention at that exact time near impossible(dancing near a wall leads to few exit paths
