"I was born in a cross-fire hurricane
And I howled at my ma in the driving rain,
But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas!
But it's all right. I'm Jumpin' Jack Flash,
It's a Gas! Gas! Gas!"

Yeah baby,...The Stones...3rd row tix this Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium. It'll be Paden and me rockin' with Mick and the boys.

You two are going to entirely too many awesome concerts lately. I'm beginning to get jealous. I also keep meaning to call you but you know how it is at the end of the semester, no time even for sleep. I've got four papers due in the next 2.5 weeks and one's due tomorrow (4-6 pages) that I haven't actually begun writing yet (although in my defense I have done some reading and mental planning and I had a computer mishap and had to waste hours redoing work for my interniship before my midnight deadline).

Anyway, hopefully I will talk to you soon. Enjoy the Stones and rock out extra had for me (Paden should be able to cover that one)

I'm employed! I start with Auto Club of Southern California (a.k.a. AAA) on Monday, Dec. 4th. I'll be a Field Contractor Relations Manager. I'll have a staff of 7 supervisors overseeing roughly 100 third party emergency roadside assistance service contractors. My office is right here in Burbank...a nice, short 5 to 10 minute commute. Woo hoo. God is good all the time.

'twas indeed amazing! This concert was another one of my "See 'em before they kick" initiative. A couple of years ago it began with seeing Ringo Starr and his All Starr band (Sheila E, Colin Hay from Men at Work, Paul Carrick from Mike and the Mechanics, Squeeze, and Ace, and John Waitt from the Baby's). Then we saw Simon & Garfunkel during their last tour in '03. And this year I finally saw The Who, and then the other night The Stones. Mick Jagger was in good voice and Keith Richard was alert, lucid and sober (a trifecta for him). They opened with Jumpin' Jack Flash, brought down the house (er, the stadium) with Sympathy for the Devil, and played Satisfaction as their encore. The stage was very wide with extended ramps that went right, left and forward ('bout 150 feet). Good times, good times. Paden and my seats were on the floor...close to seat facial expressions ( ... )
