Blues, this is so so so good. I know, I say that about everything you write but it's the truth, you don't want me to lie, do you?

I really like the pace of this story - on the surface nothing much happens but both Ennis and Jack's feelings are so intense and gripping. I suspect a whole lot of angst will be on the way but I don't mind, not really, because the darkness and the sadness in this story just feel so... right.

I loved Ethan, he seems like such a nice guy - but I wonder, are there things about him you haven't told us yet? ;)

Hooked, hooked, hooked - that's me. And I love it!

Hey :)
Thanks! Writing this story makes my head throb. But I'm surprised that I'm pretty much in control. With Flea, it's all about LOVE so sometime when I want Jack and Ennis to cuddle, they will cuddle even when they don't have to haha. But with Fragile, I have to be careful and walk on this line, no turning left or right. I try to make every word count.
While it can be a pain in the ass, I like it. LOL It's refreshing.
Oh, I like Ethan, too. He's a sweet boy. Finally, Joseph Gordon-Lewitt (but with dark brown hair) is here yey yey

What an excellent story - and you, my dear, are a master storyteller! Everything about the story feels fresh and original and intriguing - but very natural and real, too.

How strange. Jack found nothing and no one when he was looking for it, but finally found someone that might be Mr. Right when he was blind.

Isn't that almost always the way things work in life. Ethan is a wonderful addition to the story - I love the easy and loving relationship he has with his brother and his niece. And you've accomplished something that's very difficult - created a very believable child in Junior. It's so hard to strike that balance with kids - so often they're portrayed as either overly precocious/smart-alecky or just kind of used as background. But your Junior gives life to the scenes she's in, and in such a wonderful, realistic way.

Love your very complex Jack and Ennis. It will be fascinating to see how they work their way through all these obstacles! Thanks so much!!!!

Hi Marie :)

Thanks! I was struggling with this chapter.

Ethan is an important charactor so I need to paint his picture pretty vividly. And I think the fact that they are just 3 kids growing up togeter (I think Ethan is 17 and Ennis is 19 when Junior was born), they can be very close.

And thank you so much for pointing out about Junior. She's the bundle of joy for both Ennis and Ethan indeed. I'm thrilled that you like her.

You know one thing you always say about my stories being natural and realistic makes me so happy. That's one of the most heartfelt comment and encouragement any writers want to hear. So thank you and a big, big hugs to you for that! Best I can do is to keep my writing at this standard. Um...now that makes me nervous! LOL No, seriously, thank you!!
Love,
Blues

...and its wonderful!

Of course I could be completely wrong...but I get the very strong feeling that there are things NOT being said so far in this story and with the introduction of Ethan - and he's a wonderful addition - those feelings has only heighten inside me. Hmmmm!!

I'm going to remain quiet with my thoughts...at the moment. As I said I could be wrong and I don't wish to embarrass myself. (laughing)

Hey George :)
Very sorry that it took me forever to reply to your comment with this thank you note. Thank you!
Oh, yes, there're so many things unsaid in this story. I really want to write something dark for a while so here we go *smiles*
More will reveal in the next chapter, and the next. It's going to be a short story, maybe 10-12 chapters only.
Thanks again, dear.
Hugs,
Blues

Hmm ... I missed chapter one but read them both now. with heavy rains and thunderstorms outside it was the perfect mood for it. This is really ... mysterious - in a way. But very well written.
I can't stop wondering if Ennis is really Junior's father or is it Ethan?
But that's just one of many questions. I'll just keep reading.
Thank you for the new story.
All the best, B.
