i hear ya. in germany, you can't drive until ur 18 either, plus a driver's license costs around $2000, and that's after all that same vigorous training. so only the really good drivers can get onto the go-how-fast-you-want autobahn.

plus, american drivers are total idiots. my bro was driving to the post office, and this guy actually slammed on his brakes and stopped at the second light at big beaver and livernois... so he's sitting in a lane where cars will come at him from the right, and my bro is about 6 inches behind him. so what does he do? throws it into reverse and starts backing up. HEY, THERE'S A CAR HERE. my bro lays on the horn for like 30 seconds. he stops. the guy backs up anyway. and guess what?? gee he hit us. who would've thought that if you back up into a car, you actually hit that car???
