Why have I not been previously informed of the stunning beauty that is Ben Barnes? I've just watched Prince Caspian and was lucky to make it out with my ovaries intact

Isn't he? And he really would be perfect for a certain character, considering our first choice isn't available. Just imagine him slipping through the trees... ;)
I felt exactly the same way about the first one, and that was the reason I avoided the sequel for so long. Then I saw a trailer for Dorian Gray and I knew I had to get me some sweet Barnes action ;)
To be honest Prince Caspian has the same problems as the first - overly long with various structural problems - however there are some awesome scenes and they explore some interesting themes. And of course the Pretty more than makes up for the flaws ;)
Well, I read an article in Empire yesterday where the director said he was worried in case Ben was too Boy Band for the role without much talent, but that he really proved himself. Also he looks promising in the trailer so initial signs are good.
Looks wise he is perfect casting (despite being dark rather than blond), with that androgynous appeal that is a must IMO for Dorian. Proof of the pudding I suppose (*tries really hard not to make a smutty joke about eating Ben Barnes*... *fails*)

Yeah I'm not really expecting it to be good, so maybe I'll actually enjoy it now. :D
