So the job's done and today was emotional. After some news that was revealed today about changes that are going to be happening from next week, I'm more overjoyed than ever to be finally out of that place, but I will miss the amazing friends I've made there. Of course, we'll be keeping in touch, but it's not the same as seeing them every day ( Read more... )

Passages--even when positive--can still be emotional. You're embracing change and moving forward to a new opportunity. It's ok to feel the loss of the community you're leaving. Am selfishly hoping you'll put the new ideas journal and fountain pen to good use! :)

What a lovely celebration and goodbye - it is hard to sort the feelings that result from both. Nice to have validation mixed in with the sadness, though, that it really is time to move on.

It's been a trying time, but overall I'm relieved that I've made the break. Onwards and upwards from here :D

They certainly did, and I really will miss them, but the change is definitely for the better and I'm glad to have done it.

The hoovers are so cute aren't they! I'm going round looking for little bits of dust to play with it, lol.

oh we are SO bad! it's great! actually, i'm not as bad as you. although you're getting paid til xmas aren't you? which technically doesn't make you a drain on the economy, not really.
