reminds me of a story a girl i took piano lessons with told me. her family stayed at a motel, but they had to take her to a hospital because of an earache. they thought she might have water lodged in her ear from swimming in the pool, but it turns out a cockroach crawled in her ear while she was sleeping and couldn't get out.
