I still feel like I should be driving back to Tucson next weekend. My mind isn't wrapping either. I suppose that will change when I get a job.

Does your cat handle travel well? Mine is a freak and needs to be sedated.

The Pomona Freeway? Is that the 60? I usually stay on the 10 as it's more of a straight shot. Also, the freeway names confuse the hell out of me. I refer to the numbers as they don't change from one place to the next.

We shall see if and when we can completely adjust.

So far it has been pretty easy to get him into the carrier. For the first leg of the trip he yelled a lot, but started relaxing as he did so and eventually fell asleep. For the second leg he was out pretty quickly and slept most of the way.

The 60 is the Pomona freeway. Taking it bypassed a lot of downtown traffic, and was a much more scenic drive than you usually get with the 10.

You must be doing that part of the drive during the day. I usually hit it later on when traffic has calmed down a bit. The 60 is a nice drive, though. It wends a bit if you're in a hurry.
