+ I use a simple Konica Minolta Dimage x50 5.0 megapixel

I'd like to invest in a fancy digi SLR camera sometime soon, but I like having a nice compact camera.

x50 is like zoom or something? do you have like one of those chest tripod things to keep it steady or like some crazy mode that allows for action stills? every time i try to take a photo of something in motion it turns out really blurry :(

does this have something to do with like aperture and shutter speed or something? i have no idea how to manually adjust these things on my olympus stylus 300 3.2 megapixel
