DELETING ENTRIES/COMMENTS DOESN'T MAKE YOU LOOK DUMB AT ALL!

Apr 15, 2008 02:32

I wish you could see the beginning where this girl made herself look like a fool, not knowing what "chattering" meant (and in fact thinking it to be an actual entity) and being unable to take my initial (actually polite, for once) comment in the way it was meant to be taken: as a basic compliment to her post.

...

friendhamster: I actually have work, sorry. ( Read more... )

Christ, I wish we could find more worthy opponents rather than these dullards.

Good show, though.

Oh, and "kthanxbai" makes me want to choke bunnies.

So I'm impressed with how you handle yourself in sf_d and s_f so this is me running over here to ask if it's cool if I add you, even though I apparently put quotation marks in the wrong place.

Haha, thanks! I have been trying to handle things without losing my cool, and I think I've been doing a pretty good job. I've only really gone off on like 3 people. I'm really entertained by the fact that this girl can't get over my grammar and maintains that it is wrong when it is blatantly not. I mean, I understand that it's not the American norm, and I understand that I do have an odd hybrid going on... but my grammar is still correct. And now she's being corrected by other people, who are telling her that she is wrong. As far as I was aware, they are both acceptable, but one is more commonly used than the other depending on where you are.

Also, hello new friend!
