Hey, how do you get all your concert photos to turn out so nice? What camera are you using...I'm in the market to buy a new one before I go see RK, but I don't want to take shit pictures.
:D! I use just a point and shoot, Canon Powershot A450. During gigs I use the manual function, always have flash off, I use multiple shot function (ie hold down button & take a quick series of photos instead of just the one - this usually means you'll get at least one good photo in a series), I set the exposure at -1.33/-1.66 to standard, and I have the colouring set to vivid instead of just normal. THERE ARE MY TRICKS FOR YOU! I'm sure there are better tricks out there but that's how I roll and it works nicely for me.
Yessss so helpful. I was thinking about buying a Canon Powershot SD1000 or SD800, but they're pretty damn expensive in comparison. I want something really nice, but can't afford an SLR...not that I could sneak one into shows.
Yeah, I'm honestly quite happy with the A450. I've had it for about six months now? Soooo much better than my old Kodak too. DELICIOUS. And cheap too. And I'm totally hearing you about the DSLR... it's like my wet dream.
