I feel terribly guilty that I still cant help laughing at the thought that the brushes look like mini toilet-bowl brushes. I have a good friend who has gotten grown-up braces and has said she'd been having a rough time, but she didnt get into the details. I had no idea. Unlike her, at least you don't have to go through the drama of trying to date as a grown woman with braces. Keep up the good work, and I hope things improve soon. Try spaghetti and oatmeal (not together, I would imagine).

Don't feel guilty about laughing ... heck, I laugh about it sometimes, so why shouldn't other people?

The thought of dating in general is a daunting one--even more so at the moment, especially the normally fun part of making out. Until the inside of my cheeks and lips toughen up, I can barely kiss my sweetie without pain ... the pressure of my lower lip against the braces is really bad right now. Shades of Pretty Woman! I may have to foment sex without kissing.
