I had the first tightening yesterday, which was not quite what I expected and also not as bad as I had feared. I thought there would be some kind of orthodontic Allen wrench that she would use to torque the braces and literally tighten them ... but no. (At least if so I couldn't see, since it was happening inside my mouth

Hi there! Yeah, it's definitely that whole perspective thing ... one of the big pluses about aging. Nice that there are some, since there are certainly downsides.
