Seriously, sweetie? It's hard. Any woman who says the entire 9 months was a joy is a liar. You are growing a human being and the experience can range anywhere from freakishly easy to extremely difficult with dangerous complications.
Whatever you are experiencing, you're entitled to it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I'm just run down and frustrated. I felt okay to start with once I'd got used to the idea of having a child, but I think now I'm sliding back into depression.
I think pregnancy is a lot harder for people with depression, particularly if it was body-related and especially if you were on meds before and stopped due to the pregnancy. Nine months is a long time, but you're experiencing a lot of things very fast in fact.
Just remember a lot of it is pregnancy hormones, and that the hormones work a lot like starting new medication - it starts of small and builds up in your system, which takes a period of weeks to start working right and then another bit of time before you feel "normal" the new way. You will have a time when you feel good again, probably towards the end of the second trimester, and then you will feel like a whale and ready to explode and then it will be good again while you nest. And then it will be over with a beautiful wombfruit turned into baby!
