new journal

I must thank the school for providing me with a new journal; the old one simply...disappeared. I do not know quite where. It might have been a simple misplacement, although I do recall that I was trialling that simply marvelous spell that Sasuke-chan put together - the one with the conjuration of blades. It was nearby.

It's a shame. I did miss that ( Read more... )

Akabane! So good to have you back amongst the living.

You might have heard that some little tart drenched me a few days ago. I was bedridden for the entire day. Couldn't move, either.

Toying with blades again, Akabane-sir? You should be careful with such dangerous playthings. You never know when they might...slip...

I was never truly dead, little lady...simply unreachable, I suppose. But you have free leave of this infirmary, as we proved in your fifth year, did we not?

I could never close my doors to you...even if I wanted to.

Dear child, I am always careful around knives. As you well know. :)

You are too kind, Akabane-sir. Too kind indeed~ It is, of course, necessary for me to have free leave, no? Who knows what could happen to me otherwise, with so many hurtful students out to get me.

One wonders why you would want to.

Dear child, it is my pleasure.

Close the doors to you? Why, sometimes there are delicate items around; new shipments of Veritaserum, for example. Why, I still have some of that charged Veritaserum with me. I simply must attempt to slip it into someone's drink again to test it; who knows what changed properties it might have?

Perhaps I had better speak to Howl about that.

Want a good game of Wizard's Chess, huh? Very well. I'll give you a good game of Wizard's Chess.

In-deed.

It would be lovely to. And a conversation over it? I have not seen you as much as I would have liked to see a fellow colleague, after all.

Certainly! We might have to play a few games for a proper conversation, though. I win rather quickly.

Hm-mm. You might find me an interesting opponent. I learned quite a few unorthodox strategies when I took a sabbatical.

You should be.

...Larxene, what is the matter? I have not seen you this tongue-tied since that Roxas cast a Silencing Charm on you. Anything you wish to speak about?

Oh, Akabane-sir. You know how I get after being wet. I've been in such a bad mood lately, you wouldn't believe.

Yes, Larxene. I do know. I also know that you normally get much more subtle, having had more time to consider your words. There is a deeper matter. What is the matter this time?

I can believe your bad moods, certainly. The numerous pockmarks in my walls bely that.

Deep?

Me?

HAH!

As for those pockmarks, it's your own fault.

Oh no, dear child. Simply giving you an opening to expound...or not.

And you're not quite alone, Larxene. Only too blind to see the company.

Oh? And who do you suggest I keep company with? Other than your esteemed self.

Well, you did express a little interest in that Seifer boy.

And that Sasuke boy is certainly intelligent, if you do go in for that sort of thing.

Or, if you're into females instead, there is that lovely Selphie, or Kairi, I do suppose.

Or perhaps you could take up with annoying the staff?

Why limit myself? I'm an equal opportunity sort of guy, really.

Oh, but Akabane-sir. Taking up with a member of the staff would be wrong.
