Boredom is such an underrated occurence...

Well, boys and girls, you've successfully made me incredibly, incredibly bored. While I'm quite glad that no one has gotten seriously injured in these past few weeks, surely there must have been some accidents somewhere?

It...pains me to have to come to  announce this, but:

It seems that I've lost some of my highly experimental, charged Veritaserum ( Read more... )

veritaserum, oh dear, boredom, prenk mastur

Veritaserum? You don't happen to keep your bottles magically tagged for a locater spell, do you?

I'm afraid not. They were experimental, and I didn't want to add any magic whatsoever to the vials in case anything contaminated the samples further. We'll just have to wait, I suppose.

Oh. If I ask why you're experimenting with veritaserum, you won't tell me, will you?

Maybe we should have a meeting or something, if that stuff gets into the wrong hands-- well, there'd be a lot of paperwork, for one.

On the contrary -- I will tell you. It may be useful to quite a few people.

It was experimental, but not so much as how I managed to get it. And as it impacts on how you are researching Larxene's lightning issue, I did offer to tell you, after all --

Larxene came under a rather bad case of water contamination, and somehow, as I had rather carelessly left the infirmary cupboard open in the middle of brewing, her lightning somehow leaped as I was treating her and charged everything in that cupboard. While the other potions almost stewed and burnt in their vials, only the Veritaserum remained liquid and the way it was.

In other words, I came upon it by accident, but I began experimenting with other Veritaserum to see if other magical contamination would cause it to change effect.

And yes, we should have a meeting. Paperwork should be avoided at all costs, after all~

If you truly are bored, I'm sure I could find a way to remedy the situation. I can think of a few people off the top of my head who might deserve some injuries.

Well, that would be very nice, thank you very much. If you would be so kind?

No need to ask twice.

Oh that is wonderful! Whenever anyone has to tell the truth, that always ends horribly.

But amusingly, on occasion.
