He's been in bed (occasionally getting up to use the restroom or not go insane) for the past few days. He still feels a bit weak, but, he's feeling much better than before.

Ya know. When he was dead.

*Alanna is restless. After a few hours of sitting in a back booth and watching the smaller than normal crowd, she decides to stretch her legs. Thinking back to her conversation with Sawyer, she starts to wonder if anyone has been by to check on Boone recently. She asks Bar for his room number and whistles her way up the stairs and to his door. Her knock is firm and loud.*

Boone? It's Alanna.

He sits up to answer the door, but his whole body is sore and he winces slightly at the pain.

He calls out. "Come in."

*The door sticks a little bit, and Alanna frowns at it as she enters. Once inside, she rocks back on her heels and smiles, a little at a loss as to how she should explain her presence. She looks at him with the eyes of a Healer and sighs.*

Hullo, Boone. Are you still in pain?

"Yeah. Side effect of dying, I suppose." He grins at her and invites her to come all the way in with a wave of his hand.

And Shannon is there. Knocking? Yeah, screw that.

Not that her presence is anything unusual these days. One wouldn't expect the girl to be able to hover around that much, and though she does attempt to be subtle at this, it's rather unsuccessful.

It's okay, he's happy to see her.

"Hey."

"Hey. Are you okay?"

If you thought that she'd have gotten over the slight awkwardness of this by now, you'd be wrong.

He smiles. "Still a little sore, but much better than yesterday. How are you?"

He sits up in bed, wincing only a little and making room for her to sit.
