He likes to go to horror movies and throw gummi bears at the screen when the hero does something stupid, like walk backwards down a dark hallway.

Boone pretended to be a superhero when he was a kid. Wearing a cape, apprehending the imaginary foes that lurked around every corner, the whole bit.

Obviously, he never completely grew out of it.
