So, you know, Lou was really freaking out about this date with Isabelle because she was so freaking beautiful and she actually LIKED him which was one in a billion for a guy like Lou. Lou paced his apartment, picking out a deep blue button shirt and some jeans, figuring that'd be laid back enough ( Read more... )

Isa was pacing. She was horribly nervous, not that she could pinpoint why exactly. Lou liked her after all, right? So, nothing to worry about. All she had to do was breathe and relax.

She slipped into a pair of denim trousers and a dark green blouse and played with her hair until it was to her liking. She just hoped HE liked it.

She jumped up when he knocked, heading to the door and pulling it open. "Hey," she said softly, smiling.

Lou smiled askance at her, shoving out the white roses for her to see. "I got you these." He mumbled, leaning in to kiss her on the cheek softly.

God, she looked good, real good, Lou could feel himself starting to sweat at the sight of her.

She blushed prettily and took the roses, letting him kiss her cheek before she pressed a gentle kiss to his lips. "Come on in while I put them in water?" she asked, opening the door wider.

She took a moment to put the roses in a vase, casting a small spell that would keep them fresh

He took a few steps inside, eyes skirting around the apartment, taking in everything. Even the place was so HER, everything was, the way she had it decorated made him smile; reminding himself of how his place was so dreary compared to this.

"You look beautiful, by the way." Lou says after a while, watching her put the roses in a vase made him feel good. Like, he chose the right kind. He was never really good at guessing what girls liked.

"Good," she said softly, biting her bottom lip softly as she smiled, ducking her head a little. She turned to the waiter and ordered lasagna, thanking him politely as she handed her menu to him, then turning back to Lou with another smile. "I'm probably too forward, huh?" she asked, flushing just a little.

Lou shook his head intently as he took a sip of the wine. "No, you're not. I like it. Look, I'm twenty-five, I need a girl that can keep up with a guy like me." He gave her that look as if to say 'And you're the one!'

"I'm glad you like it," she said softly, "and I guarantee I can keep up with you."

Two hot plates of awesome Italian food was placed in front of them, and Lou pretty much devoured it. Why? Because he wanted to get on to more romantic, sappy things, and honestly couldn't stop thinking about kissing the girl. Yeesh.

"How was your dinner? Good? You said you liked Italian. Did I deliver?" He smiled.

"What a shame," she teased, holding his hand and letting him lead her to the water where she kicked her own shoes off. She dipped her toes into the water and shivered just a little. "Oof, that's cold," she grinned. "I may have to cast warming charms on us when we're done." Or just pout prettily so he'd cuddle her. Which would probably be WAY more fun than her way.

Lou chuckled lightly, sticking his feet in the cold water, he loved it; it soothed him like nothing else, it was his addiction. "You and your spells. You're eventually going to have to show me one, but I doubt you'd need one 'cos I'm a damn good cuddler." He grinned wide, doing that 'superheo' pose.

She laughed softly. "I could show you one now. Let's see... Oh, I know." She pulled her wand from it's holder and held it out pointing it at a shell. "Wingardium Leviosa," she said carefully, grinning when the shell floated into the air. "There. It's very basic magic, but magic all the same," she grinned. She giggled at his pose, nodding seriously. "I've no doubt that you are, Lou. You'll have to prove it to me later."

To say that he was amazed would be an understatement of the century, this was nothing he had ever seen before, it literally blew his mind. Lou's mouth gaped for a little bit before he finally realized that he looked like a buffoon doing it.

"Wow, Isabelle. That's great." He smiled, pulling her to him in a hug. "I'll definitely show you!"
