Gahhh I adore Jared, hands down, and I love that the spn fandom is starting to see his acting in a more positive light. He deserves it.
This episode? Is freakin' love. I take back everything I've said about any other episode of s2 being me absolute favorite, because this is my absolute favorite (but i'm sure i'll be saying the same thing next week? lmao) I loved the dean angst, and the evil (HOT and eviil) Sam ness, and bobby. Bobby's my friggin hero (because seriously? HOLY BEER IS THE SHIZ *flails*)
I'm still freaking out over the Jo/Sam scene, because it was terriffyng (I may not really like Jo but no way in hell did she deserve all of that) And OH DEAN, you poor thing, I broke when the demon switched back to angst!Sam right when Dean came to save the day. He was willing to turn his back and let Sam KILL than put a stop to it. Gahhh that scene (and the other scene when demon!sam begged Dean to kill sam) had me in near tears. Beautifully done by both boys.
And Jo? I enjoyed her in this ep. She was alot more likeable IMHO, and she handled taking out a bullet from Dean's arm like a pro, way to go kiddo.
And did I mention the lines I'm in love with?
"I can't do it. I'd rather die."
"You can't con a conman."
"Dude you full-on had a girl in you for a week. Very naughty!"
"I didn't want to scare you." "Well, great job you did on that."
"That sounded vaguely naughty, but thanks."
"Wouldn't wanna bruise this fine packageing."
"I gonna smack the smart ass right out of your mouth."
"Did I miss anything?"
"This is becoming a regular thing for you now isn't it? Like a cockroach."
And I'm sure there's more that I can't immediately remember. (And i'm sure I butchered at least half of the ones I wrote above xD)
Tonight was the shiz. =) I officially live Thursday to Thursday.
BTW: Is it just me or does anyone find it interesting that Born under a bad sign (which was originally named Welcome to my nightmare) The same ep number (2x14) as season 1's nightmare? Hm...
