I somehow bought $75 of the most useless shit just so I could get the 20x points. I spent $25 more than neccessary because some of my useless shit didn't count towards the Cosmetics Rewards. Now I have two cheap mascaras and a bottle of too dark foundation one of the MUAs rec'd me. Uggghhh. I didn't know you guys get commission.

Haha, that's the beauty (for us cosmeticians, anyway) of the 20x points. In the area that I work at, people are more than willing to spend hundreds of dollars on useless shit. "Omigod, if I spend $250 today, I can get a bottle of Chanel perfume for free next time!" What they don't realize is that they could spend so much less to just buy what they wanted to redeem the points for in the first place.

Yeah, a lot of people don't know we work on commission. Which is a pain in the ass sometimes, because some woman will buy a $200 face cream and cash out at the front, so the cosmetician helping her wouldn't have gotten anything from it. It sucks.
