[OOC] Re-App

Character: Tsukumo
Series: Karneval
Character Age: 16

Canon: A boy is on the search for a missing man. His only hint on this wild goose chase? A bracelet the guy left behind. Turns out the bracelet leads the boy straight to the aptly-named crime-fighting organization, Circus. You see, Circus isn’t just any old police force; its team is composed of performers and entertainers who put on shows for civilians after executing raids. Fortunately for the boy, and his “friend,” Circus welcomes them with open arms and aids with the search.

So, ever wanted to get your ass kicked by a pretty girl in a cute frilly dress? You might just want to meet Tsukumo, Circus's popular and skilled acrobat. Tsukumo’s the cool, collected young lady every little girl wishes she could grow up to be. Men swoon over her, women adore her, and Tsukumo is... nonchalant about it. This strong, sensible Circus lieutenant is curt and concise, and, due in part to her quiet demeanor, she has a tendency to follow-up her sentences with those dreadful ellipses. She takes her job and just about everything seriously, from her acrobatic performances, to crime fighting, to... games of hide-and-seek. But dilly-dallying on the job? Yeah, no, Tsukumo won’t have that. She’s a no-nonsense girl who follows orders carefully and tries to ensure everyone’s safety no matter what.

Sample Post:

You're the director, right? Sorry for taking long. I ran into difficulty locating the cornfield you specified. Your email wasn’t very descriptive. "Meat me by the cornfield with the scarecrow." Hardly helpful when roughly every cornfield has a scarecrow. You also misspelled "meet.” I hope you're taking me seriously. Now, I’d like to address you about--wait. You're supposed to be a woman, aren't you, Miss Sayre? I realize that when you hide your face from the public there are misconceptions, but... it’s unlikely information regarding your sex went misinterpreted. I suppose you lost your feminine attributes along with your fingers and eyes...

This is about an upcoming play? So... that means you're not the director. Simply a director. I should have known that woman wouldn't show her face so easily. Sorry, but I'm not interested in performing for you... unless you can convince Miss Sayre, the woman in charge of this "summer camp," to attend the performance. Give her a backstage pass as well. That way I can introduce myself to her after the show. Understood? If you meet these needs, I'll participate. Good. But, um... I didn’t realize my role would call for a suit made entirely of raw meat. It appears to cover almost every part of the body, too. From the feet to... the head. That’s impractical. I intend to move and breathe while playing this part. Director, do you honestly expect me to wear this costume for the show? A show being held outdoors? The outfit would cook in the summer heat. And don’t think I haven’t noticed Camp’s fauna. I might be stampeded by a herd of robotic bovine within seconds of walking onto the stage. You should have mentioned what my part entailed in the email. I never would have showed up if I knew...

--I didn’t say anything. Now let me see your script. I can’t really picture what kind of play requires an actress to wear meat. Let’s see... “The Attack of the Meat Creature From Mars.” I’m filling the role of the meat creature? I... I’m not sure what to make of that. However, if this is what you want, fine. I’ll be your show's meat creature. At this point I'll do anything to become acquainted with Miss Sayre.

But once I’m through with her... You'll never direct another play again.

Voting went here~ 80% 79.6% ♥

Note: Tsukumo had 400 comments at her re-app. Actually, 399, but fuck it, I'm rounding this number, :(
