The month of June, 2004. My life has taken a series of turns. It's like things just started shifting and realigning as I left the realm of 'teenager.' I just turned 20 about eighteen days ago... it feels like half a year has gone by

What's sad is I even get that all of this has had to happen. It also makes me sad though that you never told me about getting that part. You just told me you were in the ensemble. I guess that's what happens when things get rough...

Anyway, I just wanted to give you your first note. So here it is.

I totally know where you're coming from with the whole "my friends don't understand thing." I've been on both sides of the whole "choosing sides" thing and I know its rough when you and an ex have mutual friends.

HOWEVER, if they are your REAL friends they will support your every endeavor even if they don't agree with your choices.

So you know, I place no judgements on either of you--you are both my friends and I hope it stays that way.

Hope you're having a great summer and I hope we can hang out in the city when I come back. There's definitely gonna be some Coney Island-ing in the near future.

Ditto to what Chelsea said. I'm a little sad to hear that you guys broke up, but I guess you're handling it pretty well and I respect your decision. I also intend not to choose sides and maintain my friendships with the both of you.
