By the way, in studies where people are allowed to sleep as long as they want, they usually sleep for like 10 or 11 hours for the first two weeks, and then suddenly cut back to 7 or 8. Getting rid of sleep debt, basically. >.>

I think it is probably a gradual thing -- starting and failing and trying again. It gets easier.
