I tell all my friends that I've been in meaningful relationships in the past that have all ended badly (which is the reason why I don't really care that I've been "single" for three years), when really, I'm simply ashamed to admit that the only time I've ever kissed a boy was when he was drunk.

I'm just scared that no one finds me attractive. People say that I'm pretty, but it seems that no one is willing to spend enough time, energy, and emotion on me to make me believe them. I've been single for as long as I can remember.

Sometimes I just don't want to love the people that I do. Sometimes I don't want to love my friends. I just get tired.
