I am so cut off from the world down here, what's happening with the First Nation education? And I am glad to hear that something is happening.

The Premier along with some Federal counterparts gave First Nations the ability to independantly determine cirriculum and content for First Nations students and learners. essentanitly First Nations have the ability to manage their own education within certain standards etc. I am not sure exactly what it menans, but the jist I have gathered is that First Nations now havethe ability to create content and make sure that the cultural make up of first nations which is often different an or in conflict with the main stream culture is aloud to express itself in a way that supports and nutures peoples of firstr Nation descent to maximize their success without sacrificing their essential nature....

But time will tell
