We are 16 Trillion in Debt and you folks celebrate??? You have to be stupid. No one that has that much debt can possibly celebrate. You have no clue what our country is headed for. YOU HAVE TO BE STUPID... Unless of course you have 16T in your checking account.. oh... I didn't know...

Debt is a serious thing. And I don't deny that. And no, I don't have 16 trillion dollars laying around. But I do have human decency. And this post is not about economics, it's about not resorting to ad hominem attacks based on the color of someone's skin. So, thank you Anonymous writer from Wilson, North Carolina.
They always forget to mention the part where the Republican Congress, for the last four years, prevented any sort of solution to lessen or even halt the deficit.
"just because you're entitled to your opinions, does not mean you are entitled to be free from criticism"
This, this, this. So very much this. The whole Chick-fil-A debacle really left a bad (worse?) taste in my mouth about Conservatives and Christians (yes, Christians-I will call you that because that's what you call yourselves) balking at the proposed boycott as violating some sort of bullshit free-speech rule, when companies supportive of gay and lesbian rights have been boycotted to death for, what decades now?
Great essay. It's good to know that just because a person comes from a racist background, doesn't mean THEY will be racist. My family was never very vocal about their prejudices but they were there. But they didn't try to force their felings onto me. It's sad that there are so many people who hate the President just because of the color of his skin. He is a smart man, a loving man to his family and I TRULY feel he cares about peoples struggles. If you don't like him because of his policies that's okay but why do people have to judge someone based on pigmentation because that's all it is.
