Seriously, though, I think that tools like this can be very helpful for conveying an attitude that values an entire range of qualities and understands them as naturally variable. The Meyers-Briggs personality sorter is a great example -- it gives people vocabulary to talk about their personalities and preferences while acknowledging that these generally shift a bit over the course of a life.
