So much bickering right now in two of the 4 fandoms that I read fan fic for. The end of the season ep for Hawaii 5O left a bitter taste in many fans mouths and it kind of devolved into Team Danny vs. Team Steve, much like the Avengers fandom is either Team Cap or Team Ironman after the movie Civil War. Which would be fine if it was kept in

I'm only tangentially in the Mag7 fandom, I didn't realize there was anything going on there. Is it related to the upcoming movie or TV show related or....?

I left h50 a while ago and anytime I try to get back into watching I nope out in hurry so I don't really know what's going on there, but OMG MCU is such a mess. It's like tptb didn't realize when they set up and sold CA:CW as teamIM vs teamCap it might mean people would take sides and get passionate about their side and hate the other side.

But, yeah, fandom is supposed to be FUN. Sorry it isn't being that way for you right now?

There's an active Facebook group called Gamblers and Gunfighters and there are new stories being posted from time to time on AO3 and Blackraptor. It's definitely not active like the Marvel universe, but it's not dead, by any means.
